1. Introduction

Welcome to Bevura App, A mobile platform offering Village banking wallet, Mobile Money and Bill payment services. Outlined below are the Terms and Conditions that govern your access to and use of Bevura app. Kindly read the contents carefully as they set out important details and information that you need to know about the Bevura App. These terms and conditions, the Fee Structure and the Privacy Policy form a legal agreement between you, the Bevura wallet holder, and Yafika Mobile Money Ltd. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, If you not agreeable, do not use these services.

2. Regulatory Compliance

Bevura is an app operated by Yafika Mobile Money Limited a duly registered Fintech under the Companies Act of Zambia and Licenced by the Bank of Zambia.

3. Eligibility

To open a Bevura Wallet you must

  1. Be at least 16 Years old
  2. Hold a valid National Registration Card, Drivers License or Passport
  3. Have a valid mobile number registered with a licensed mobile network operator in Zambia
  4. Own a mobile number registered with a licensed mobile network operator in Zambia.

4. Services

The Bevura app provides e-wallet services, including but not limited to, bill payments, fund transfers, virtual card generation, and group contributions. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of our services at any time without notice.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair the app. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Engaging in any fraudulent activity.
  • Transmitting any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses, or other items of a destructive nature.
  • Impersonating any person or entity.

6. Fees and Payments

Certain services within the app may be subject to fees. You will be notified of any applicable fees before you complete a transaction. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information. By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, service marks, logos, and trade names on the app are the property of Bevura or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app will cease immediately.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bevura shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bevura operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes.
